Services Offered

24 Hour College Prep works closely with students to help navigate the entire journey of the college application process, most notably by providing the following services that are tailored to the unique needs of each client: 

  • Advising on the range of colleges and universities with the intent of creating a comprehensive list of schools to which the student will apply.

  • Meeting with students to plan and complete all components of their college application (in-person meetings available for students in Southern California).

  • Assisting students with the nuances of the application process, including drafting and refining personal statements and supplemental responses.

  • Strategizing on all aspects of the application, including selecting majors and programs, constructing the activities list, synthesizing test scores and transcripts, and planning letters of recommendation.

  • Ensuring that students and their families make the most informed and optimal decisions when finalizing college admission offers and financial aid/scholarship packages.

About Jared Cohen (Founder)

As a graduate of Harvard College (Class of 2019), Jared has been guiding students on navigating the college application process for over six years and has helped his clients gain admission to a wide range of top tier universities, including, but not limited to, Harvard, Columbia, Dartmouth, UC Berkeley, Cornell, Yale, USC, UCLA, Brown, Cornell, and NYU.

He has a deep passion for helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. With a day job in healthcare private equity and entrepreneurial mindset, his free time is solely dedicated to assisting students and guiding their parents through the complex college application process. He currently splits his time between San Diego and Orange County and enjoys traveling across all of Southern California.
